Tom and Laurie Clark staked their dream to a small parcel on the east side of Howell Mountain and produced their first vintage in 1993. The winemaking style is elegant in its subtlety, and reflects the parcel's unique microclimate. Douglas Danielak is winemaker. More »

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
