Low US Retail is updated twice a month and excludes outlier listings. Detailed listings are sourced daily from our partner, Global Wine Stocks, and may include outliers. Note that you can use the 'Report a problem' link which appears after clicking on any individual listing to notify our content team and partner of incorrect wine matches.
Auction prices are based on actual auction results (inclusive of buyerÂ’s premiums) of 750ml bottle sizes only. As auction prices fluctuate from auction to auction and some wines have limited auction activity, the average auction price is updated twice a month and derived from a proprietary algorithm.

This was a stunning shiraz. Deep ruby color, fantastic nose--red fruits and cedar predominated. Full on the tongue, again with lots of red fruit. Very balanced--tannins were evident but muted.Much more than a fruit bomb. Developed in the glass for 45 minutes. This is drinking superbly now, but will continue to develop for several years.

Tasted for a second time and I liked it much better. Fat mid-palate. Maybe it will better intergrate with time. Lots of fruit but not flabby. Has enough acid and tannins. Curious to see how it would develop in 4-6 years. Like this better than the 04 Quintessa.

Rich, dense and velvety, distinctive for its blueberry, boysenberry and spice flavors, shaded with subtle cocoa and tar notes, lingering beautifully on the subtle, generous finish.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
