Rich mineral taste with a lot of balance. I enjoyed the wine with a nice rib eye steak. The tannis had soften a little but still excellent with combining the fruit of the wine and fat of the steak. I saved a glass for an hour after dinner and wished I would have opened and decanted for about 30 - 40 minutes prior to dinner. It's always fun however to enjoy the taste of the wine in the different stages after opening.
