When I first tried this wine in 2010 I was blown away. The value was outstanding (especially for a Parker rated 94). Now, four years later, I think it has lost some of its structure. Still tasty, but not quite as impressive.

Terrific expression out of the glass, the nose is an array of pleasures. Very deft on the tongue, with a wonderfully persistent finish. I cannot think of a wine that offers what this does for $40. And I think it will run a bit.

This is pretty terrible. So much hype and after 2nd bottle in last year that's the same - too much oak, harshly acidic and out of balance and over the hill. The peddlers of this are pulling a fast one.

Approachable now, with 2 hour decant, but will really strut its stuff with 5 to 10 more years in the cellar. An excellent wine from a great vintage.

Heady and corpulent, showing dusty cherries, vanilla, cinnamon and clove. Ridiculously good without going over the top. Drinks like a quality bordeaux in a really ripe vintage. I love it, will buy more.
