Our group did a big cab tasting dinner this past week and this was the clear winner among most going up against a Maiden 04, Colgin Tychson Hill 04, Dalla Valle 97, Dominus 90, Montelena 94 and a Leonetti Reserve. This drinks like a grand Bordeaux, still lots of fruit but maturing very nicely and probably could go a lot longer. A real finesse wine ripe with berries, vanilla, subtle oak. They hit this one out of the park.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
