Classic Rioja aroma. Tart cherry, earth, cocoa. Bright acidity. In great place now.

Sparkling, medium ruby color; in the glass could pass for a burgundy. Some floral tones and red fruit on the nose. Medium weight, juicy flavors, including some sour cherry. High acid picked-up on the mid-palate. Very enjoyable! Still many years ahead for this 2001!
