a great Rioja. big nose on the opening with the garnacha at the forefront. medium bodied and smooth on the palate, with red berries dominant and a tannic minerality giving the structure and complexity that I prefer. very attractive price points, drinking well now but solid enough for years to come.

Terrific expression out of the glass, the nose is an array of pleasures. Very deft on the tongue, with a wonderfully persistent finish. I cannot think of a wine that offers what this does for $40. And I think it will run a bit.

This is pretty terrible. So much hype and after 2nd bottle in last year that's the same - too much oak, harshly acidic and out of balance and over the hill. The peddlers of this are pulling a fast one.
Heady and corpulent, showing dusty cherries, vanilla, cinnamon and clove. Ridiculously good without going over the top. Drinks like a quality bordeaux in a really ripe vintage. I love it, will buy more.
