No expense was spared by Betty O'Shaughnessy building her Howell Mountain winery, developing the steeply terraced vineyards and hiring Sean Capiaux as winemaker. The winery also produces a Mt. Veeder bottling .

licorice and leather. Very good wine and still has some time left in the bottle. Full bodied.

Drink Dates 2007-2014

A velvety-smooth bluish-purple wine with pronounced licorice and dark fruit aromas. Well-balanced with fine tannins and nice acidity for structure and crispness. A well-made effort that match perfectly with our chargilled herb-crusted rib-eye.
