At the Acker 2000 and 2001 Burgundy Grand Cru Tasttng on 10/29. A lighter more approachable version of the 2001 which was Pumped up, smokey barnyardy with leather. A dirty, earthy wine and I mean that in the best possible way. All bottles opened 3 hours before drinking and drank over 2 hours.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
