Had at the Inn at Little Washington. Very young and I opened this too early. Decanted over four hours and the best thing about it was the glass coating aromas that never ended. The wine changed nicely over time but it was tough to judge at this early stage. Nutmeg, wet stone, and blueberry pie all mixed together to form a stand out wine.

Beautiful aromatics. Distinct notes of dark cherry along with red fruit. Seamless, balanced and exudes pure class. Could have done with a couple more hours decant as it kept improving in glass. Not a rough edge. Hope it puts on a tad more weight with age. 50+10+9+19+9=97

Beautiful color. Decanted for 30 mins. Nose was an mixture of evergreen and black fruit. The fruit was inherently cooked and the earth tones were that of old wood and foliage. Palate was more earth than fruit up front, but had a wonderful bluberry and plum finish. Chocolate was also an undertone on the finish.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
