Improved with work. Blackberry and black cherry fruit, anise, licorice, nice texture. Something a bit earthy about it too.

Its a good wine and drinking well right now. Certainly not worth the price I paid at the the time. Had this wine been a $30 or $40 bottle I would have rated it higher.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
