Argiano is a reliable, 30-hectare estate in Montalcino producing modern style Brunello di Montalcino, with Riservas designated for the best vintages. Very tannic even after 3 hours of decanter breathing. Have some complex aromas but not quite enjoyable at this time.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
