what a dissapointment. allways enjoyd the 96 & 99. still a good dom.p but I am missing the delicate touch from earlier vintages. fresh fruit and sharp on the tounge. (waitin for the 02.)

very fine. very light on the tongue. toasted brioche and pear on the nose. quite young but drinking very well now. exceptional wine that has a long life ahead and will improve. lovely.

Drank with Fiona, Spencer & Tracey. Nice, but very young. Needs to mature for 2-3 years minimum.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
