Drink Dates 2007-2012

Darkly colored with an intense nose of syrupy plum, cherry, and anise with a touch of stone and leather. Not shy in the mouth with good acidity and fruit concentration. Tannin is significant however. 100% Cabernet sourced from the Morisoli and Leonardini Vineyards. The wine was raised in a combination of French and American oak for 22 months prior to bottling.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
