The 1999 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Madonna del Piano is a delicious brunello engulfed with layers of perfumed dark fruit, and spices. A serious structured wine of incredible beauty. Need to decanter for 2-3 hours.

Astonishingly smooth and delicious. Dark cherry nose that turns to silky fruits on the palate. The rare combination of strength and smoothness. A clear step up from the wonderful 99 Valdicava
