The best of the last 3 that I had in the last 2 years, by a lot too. I was surprised at how well it was drinking and had held up compared to the previous 2. I found a good window.

This bottle opened nicely with good fruit present, but before the meal ended it turned to an earthy, soy based flavor. Seemed a few years too long in the bottle.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
