Drink Dates 2012-2025

Consistent notes. (decanted one hour before) Good cont'd. bottle development. Dark ruby - still youthful color; the nose has opened up showing lots of dense, mostly black, fruit, herbs & spice; rich & delicious with well-integrated tannins; well balanced, complex & elegant; long finish. Drinking well now and should continue to do so for another decade or more with a possibility of further development in bottle.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
