Very consistent notes except for cont'd development in bottle. Dark (esp. for a Burgundy) ruby/mahogany red: lovely black fruit, spice, earth & leather nose; similar old-vine flavors on the palate; concentrated; med.-full bodied; masculine for a Burgundy; good acid balance w/soft well-integrated tannins; powerful & intense if not elegant. Drinking beautifully now and will hold. Excellent for a "villages" wine.
