The Uvaguilera project was started by a group of investors about 9 years ago in the acclaimed Ribera del Duero region. The wines are made by Isaac Fernandez Montana, a member of the winemaking team at Mauro. A brilliant, expansive wine drinking beautifully right now. Paired perfectly with wine braised short ribs.

Drink Dates 2012-2022

Medium to full-bodied. Ripe dark berry and creme de cassis framed by notes of mesquite, bacon and leather. Sweet tannins yet still retain grip on the finish. Good now but will get better with time.
