It took a moment to open up, but showed balance and structure after 20 minutes in the class. Plum and raspberry flavors are prominent.

Still delicious after an hour of air. Toasty oak, currant and spice. Medium bodied with nice long finish. It will not get any better. Drink now.

Opened bottle to a wonderful bouquet. After decanting for an hour, the taste was sublte berries on the palate and a leathery nose. Tanins broken down enough to make this very smooth, like a good Bordeaux should be.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
