Bright ruby. Oaky aromas of black fruits, dark chocolate and mint. Very ripe, thick and rich; lovely sweetness and breadth of texture. Grew lusher as it opened in the glass. Enticing flavor of black raspberry. Finishes very long, with big, ripe tannins. A lovely example of the vintage.

Sorry to see my last of these go, but it was delicious. Firing on all cylinders in a fruit bomb extravaganza! I wish I had the patience to keep my others this long.
