This wine was purchased at the Domaine in 1999 and carried back home when one could still bring a bottle (or 19) as carry on luggage. slightly deep yellow color with steely and grassy aromas somewhat typical of aged white wine. I taste lychee and white grapes (go figure) with some minerality. Thick texture and a long finish. For my palate, this is slightly past peak but certainly drinkable. Domaine Weinbach and these few remaining bottles I have from the trip in 1999 are very special to me. If you have some drink up and enjoy. Cheers.
