Drink Dates 2010-2018

Still strong, profound and somehow tannic but starting to softening, decant. Excellent fruit core and structure. Start to drink now and for the next 6-8 yrs.

Multi layered, fruit forward, complex and completely delicious. Drinking very well right now, but I think it will drink well for another 5 years or so

Drink Dates 2007-2017

Deep dark almost black colored wine with a few thick legs showing light pigmentation. A big beautiful soaring nose of mint, eucalyptus, menthol, and black fruits. Smooth and plush on the palate with excellent length ? shockingly accessible given my experience with prior Marth's. Drink now (2007) to 2017. Not the ager earlier vintages have been. Lacks the concentration to be an exceptional wine.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
