Very silky on the palate. Graphite and classic Lynch on the nose. Highly recommended and went great with steaks

This is still drinking young. Classic Lynch Bages, but not sure that it will be the equal of 90. It needs 2 hours of air to show cedar and casis on the nose and palate.

meaty and angular with a rustic, slightly damp smell (not corked though, just 'wet'. Austere with focused spices first, but then it really softens up the mouth with a nice mouth coating feel. Acidity still very strong and lasting on the finish. Rough tannins, but in a good way that melt in your mouth and on the finish.

Amazing purity, creme de cassis and delineation in a wine that can drink right out of the bottle but still has 5-7 years to go. This wine has the tarry nuances of Mouton at 1/3 the price. A true pleasure in the bottle, velvety tannins with forward cabernet dark fruits in the nose and taste. Enjoy now and over the next 3-5 years.

The first of the group was crisp, mature and full of complexity. Notions of tobacco, pepper, licorice, tilled earth, truffles and black currant are bright, medium bodied and have a bit of a chewy disposition. While the wine is by no means a blockbuster, it is noble and full of charm and is sure to satiate any fan of finesse-driven Cabernet

Certainly at maturation plateau, not likely to get much, if any, better. Very food friendly on the night we had it. As Coates would say, "Fine."

Dark black colored wine with no signs of aging. Anise, dark fruits, spice, aged beef aromas. Well balanced with plenty of tannin and acidity. Drink 2012 to 2022.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
