Popped and poured. Bright, light golden color. Aromas of green apples, some floral undertones, and a hint of flowers. Flavors are big and bold for this BdB, still quite primary. Drinking fantastically right now; lots of stuffing in the wine, lots of fruit, acid, and just a touch of bread dough. This wine is really singing now, but lots of life left for those waiting for more secondary aromas and flavors. This champagne is definitely on my 'all-time greats' list!

Extremely disappointing. The champagne is completely flat, and not much bubbles. Stale.

Very nice Champagne. Super fine bubbles. Full bodied yet elegant. Nice freshness to it also. Hints of ginger and bread dough. Good length to the finish.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
