Amazing how well this is still tasting! Barely any sign of aging and the tannins have not calmed down yet. Dark ruby color, plenty of dark berries.

Ruby red with a light garnet rim. Nose and flavors consist primarily of ripe cherries, blackberry and strawberry and without any vegetal aromas. Nose is a little hot, but acids are well balanced and the tannins feel refined. Perhaps a little more time in the glass would eliminate the hot character. All in all a nice Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
