Medium body, lot of finesse, ripe but sweety taste of red cherry, light toasty oak and soft plum toach. Still lively and nice finish but just getting a little dry so drink it now. It's a beauty.

Opened for two hours before tasting. Nose of tea, earch, tint of black fuits and old cabinet; Palate of blackcurrant and kirsch. Alcoholic, with tannin on the back palate. Full body and medium length.

The nose is fairly subdued, showing nice cedary oak and spice, but fruit rather shy. The palate too is lacking a little fruit. The structure and spice is good, but the final impression is more of the wood than fruit. 88/100

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
