Happy New Year! This was wonderful wine. Very complex yet elegant, with a nose of black fruits, tobacco and herbs on a very long finish. Served with prime New York cut steaks, garlic spinach, baked potato and Cesar salad...the wine was the star of the meal. If you have this in you cellar you can drink now or hold.

This hedonistic Cabernet Sauvignon's saturated purple color is accompanied by an exuberant, sweet, enveloping fragrance of smoky new oak, and jammy blackberry and cassis fruit. In the mount, this lavishly wooded, black fruit-filled Cabernet is extremely full-bodied , with superb levles of fruit, glycerin, and extract. Like many 1994 Cabernet Sauvignons, it possesses extraordinary equilibrium, with the sweet tanin giving the wine considerable accessibility. the finish lasts for nearly 30 sceonds. This will be a fun wine to drink young, but do no discount its aging ability as it should last for two decades.

Drank for Aaron's birthday gathering. Great wine! Color was good, body was medium to full, flavors were good and finish was nice. Drink now to be smart, it won't get better but should stay nice for another year.

Ruby colored. Smoke and oak on the news. Classic cassis and tobacco flavors. Very long finish. This still has a ways to go. Great wine.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
