Caymus Vineyards was founded in 1972 by the Wagner family in Napa Valley's Rutherford district. The Wagners originally immigrated to the San Francisco Bay area from Alsace in the late 1880s. Nice wine - dark fruit flavors and a nice cedar finish. Drinking well but is past it's prim, probably needs to be drank with in 12 months.

Drink Dates 1995-2008

Nice nose of dark cherry. The wine still has the fruit but is out of balance, having lost acidity and tannin structure. Drink immediately.
