Gosset is the oldest currently operating wine house in Champagne. Although small for a grand Champagne producer, Gosset makes close to 50,000 cases a year, which is approximately the same output as Krug. Drink Dates 2012-2015

Starts off with lots of citrus and lemon meringue. Opens to lots of brown sugar, caramel, red apples, apple fritter with fresh acidity and slightly creamy.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
