Still deep red color-elegant nose. Complex and layered with perfect balance and strong finish. Fades after 45 minutes.

Big nose of dark fruits and currants/cedar, a heavy hitter with a great mouthfeel and long finish. I don't understand the "83" in the Community Tasting Notes. I loved it. Plenty of time left.

One terrible and anomalous rating should not be allowed to drive the ranking of this fine wine so low. Whether that bottle was corked, cooked, or otherwise damaged, it clearly does not represent the wine. I urge Joje or Vinfolio to withdraw the number from inclusion. I have never seen any wine rated 60.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
