Lithe and liquid in the nose with airy, yet distinct, fig and dark raisiny notes haunted by a sweet earth character. Flows over the palate with a dark aspect pf licorice and fig brightened by a delightful apricot and golden raisin aspect. Thorough, medium-bodied and lengthy finish that is a collection of cantucinni, toffee and quince paste. Still young and able-bodied and ready to go a few more decades.
