Mohagawny core thinning out a bit towards rim. The nose reveals dark berry fruit, leather, smoked meats and a bouquet of dried roses. The palate shows that tell-tail elegance of the Margaux terroir, medium+ body, with quite a bit of fruit and acidity and just a touch of velvety tannin at the back end. Round and rich drinking like a wine of 20 years old instead of 31 with very little tertiary characteristics. Medium length.
