Comte de Vogue is often considered the greatest wine estate in Chambolle-Musigny. It traces its history back to 1450 and amazingly, after 20 generations, the same family still runs the show. Slightly musty when opened but blew off quickly. opens after 10 minutes and while the nose was not as strong or animalistic as last bottle, in the mouth is was complex, multilayered and delicious. A totally delightful wine to the last drop

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
