Built in magnificent 18th century Louis XV style, Chateau Beychevelle sits in the St. Julien district of the Medoc, with neighbors including Chateau Gloria and Chateau St. Pierre. O vinho é duro qdo aberto e rapidamente começa a mostrar que já está mais do que na hora de ser aberto, passa aquela sensação de que se demorar muito ele vai embora. Frutas vermelhas e um pouco de madeira. O gole começava bem, mas no final tinha pouca persistência em função da idade avançada. Mesmo assim estava muito bom.
