colour was quite red with rose tinge at the edge; hard to get much on the nose; some tertiary flavours of spice at the end : mint or coriandre ( we could not agree on this); it had dried up but was still recognisably a Bordeaux; old bones! Garret's notes: Still pretty robe; faint and understated nose; old barn ( blue cheese) on the palate, tannins had dried up . It had a whiff of leather and mint or coriander or other green herb at the end.
