This is a wine with some refinement, a smooth texture, fully mature, with plum and spice on the palate.

big one from spain - a little gamey but not enough to make it unpleasent. Not super classy - a little ruff around the edges might mellow in a few years?....

Great for a $7.99 bottle of wine. Flavors of black cherry, chocolate and figs.

Cheap so so Wine Bland almost white. Tasted acidic. Really light

Cherry, toast and tar notes mark this firm red. Straightforward, with enough grip for food but not much nuance.

A bit oaky. Needs decanting.

Dark oxblood color with ruby rim. A concentrated and rich nose of plum, cassis, chocolate and vanilla. Initial smooth and silky mouthfeel with highly concentrated black fruit fruit flavors morph into dusty tannins with fruit shining through like the sun peering through a thick cloud cover. Tannins are so massive they last for 45 seconds and are followed by pure fruit for even longer. A grand wine with big texture and body to put away for a few years before opening.
