Excellent, smooth, losts of fruit, balanced tannins

Drinking extremely well. Berry notes with cedar and pepper finish.

Light gold in color. Medium rim variation. Fast legs. Butterscotch, Honey, Diacetyl(butter).

Grass notes on the nose, starts with a nice acidity, but finishes softly. Very easy to drink with seafood.

very attractive color, nice nose, big fruity flavors. seems like it will be great in a few years. a real price performer. better than the 2000 reserve (which costs 50% more)

What a delicious bottle! This had a racy, wild character. It was briery, brambly ,and seductive. I wanted to open a second bottle it was so intesting, showing just how lovely temperanillo can exhibit earthiness and exotic fruit.

I can see how this wine would be very appealing to California wine afficionados for its brazen burly character. I found it to be every bit as big and 'in your face' as his chardonnay and syrah. Sort of a strange style-no true finesse.

Much better than the WS rating, smooth and delicous cabernet.

Beautiful funky pinot. Evolved fruit but still present (qeue de cerise, dried cherries) and fleshed out tannins. Medium weight hinting at an ability for continued consumption over the next 2 years but a slightly alcohol nose gives impression of a slight imbalance. Wine has help up well and give an elegant and enjoyable drinking experience.

Dinner at Cafe Ponte with Jeff, Jory and Jere. Could have been mistaken for Bordeaux in a blind tasting. Rather closed nose, but opened up after about 30 minutes. This is an elegant wine, more subtlety to it than I had expected. Tannins were smooth and fruit was showing well. I would say that this wine has seen it's best days and it's time to drink up unless you're saving that one last bottle for your Dominus vertical.

Dinner at home with Cophams and friends. Boatloads of fruit. Still a baby and I'll wait a bit before opening my last bottle. Lots of coffee and chocolate notes.
