great tasting riesling-not too dry or sweet

Pure and beautiful. A lovely wine with hints of apricots and beautiful acidity. Great with apricot based desserts or cheeses like La Tur (the La Tur pairing is perhaps one of the best wine to cheese pairings I have had in years). I am curious to see how this wine evolves over the years.

great reserve chardonnay-keep for special times

single dimension, some fruit but not great

Surprisingly good. Opened with profound green pepper and a little leather. With 30 mins the green pepper mellows out and reveals soft tannins. Much better than expected.

Great, as always - a wonderful counterpoint to Kielbasa with sourkraut and spicy brown mustard. Thick, viscous, oily mouthfeel with electric acidity. Terrific balance - sweet, tangy, mouth-coating, and lingering. This will improve for several more years and drink beautifully for a couple decades.

The mountain view cab franc actually comes from near roanoke and is light weight and has that virginia earth profile. Tart cherry, mineral, and smooth light finish

mineral, virginia clay, and light oak are apparent. Some cherry and briar patch berries. Decent finish but lacking complexity and length on the finish
