03/05 excellant CDP. perhaps slightly diluted but i am being very picky to say that. drinking perfectly.

10/13/05- Had at Palm with Mowrey. Nice wine. Big, mushrooms and blueberries. Drink anytime.

Delicious ... very nice, basic, classic CdP. Jennifer thinks it is bland.

light ruby color. Great aromas of fruit (apricots (?), plums), honey and flowers. Great balance of sweetness and tannins, with a touch of oaky spiciness. Nice, warm, if not particularly long, finish with dry tannins and residual glycerin covering the teeth, and a hint of grassyness at the very end. Very nice, interesting wine. Should age well.

Huge and spicy. Haven't tried this in awhile, but am struck by the anglularity of this -- quite rustic compared to a Bordeaux or a California zin/syrah.

Tasted pretty good with Shaun's chicken and chorizo paella

tried in 2006. Very nice integrated fruits, absolutely wonderful now.

still needs time... lacking mid-palette... overall a letdown

Dark and opaque to the edge of the glass. Fresh ground pepper and jammy fruit on the nose with some earthiness (truffles). Lots of fruit and lots of tannin; and finish that keeps going and going. Forget about drinking for the next 3 - 4 years. Try another after this time and evaluate drinkability

Drank with braised lamb shanks at Lavender Hill. Low acidity, medium fruit. Perhaps not enough structure foe Lamb but still very nice. WIll improve with 1 or 2 years.
