We had this with Shrimp Linguini on 5/5/08. It was a nice medium gold color with aromas of peach, pineapple, orange and minerals. All of which followed on the palate with just a tiny bit of oiliness. It had good acidity with a moderately long, slightly bitter finish. I thought this wine was OK...certainly nothing special.

bright acidity and full array of citrus, pear and honey

We had this with grouper puttanesca (served over orzo) on 3/29/09. It had a very pleasant bouquet of peach, orange honey suckle and baking spice aromas. The palate followed exactly with just a touch of sweetness. It was very pleasant with enough complexity to keep me analyzing it. I liked it a lot. It is a terrific QPR.

Peachy nose and slightly floral. This wine is light bodied,with low alcohol.Very refreshing with a clean dry finish.Enjoy on a hot summer afternoon.

Albarino......Good

Green-gold color. Impressively aromatic nose features fresh pear, honeysuckle and mineral scents. Brisk, sharply focused orchard fruit flavors pick up sweeter melon and peach notes on the long, sappy finish. I like this wine's delicate touch

Light gold in color. Medium rim variation. Fast legs. Lemon, Green Apple. Light bodied. Bright texture. Long finish.

Albarino.....good. A tint of lemon/orange.

Consistent with previous notes. Very similar to some austrian Gruner Veltliner perhaps?

Light gold in color. The nose is a mushroomy oak palate with nuances of pineapple overlaid. Medium acidity and creamy in the mouth. The body is medium to big with a creamy richness throughout. The palate has some of the pineapple of the nose with a creamy peach custard like flavor. Great wine from a grape unknown outside of Spain. 4/5
