A 95 with a wonderfully aromatic nose of crushed berries. Full-bodied, with a long, medium-sweet fruit finish and firm, silky tannins. |

Dark purple with a black core. Nutty aromas with smoky, ripe black berries. Succulent plummy fruits on the palate. Lighter than expected, but mouth-filling with a hint of liquorice and good heat from the alcohol. |

1st Melons, grape, clove and black liquorice on the nose. Tannins are soft with medium acid. The palate is candy like with earth cherry, blackberry, wood and earth. 3.5/5 2nd Melon nuts, wood, and acetone? Candy like in the mouth with blackberry, currant, and showing a soft background of tannins and high acidity. |

Initially decanted for 2 hours. Aromas of blackberry liqueur and candied black cherries with a healthy dose of coffee, licorice and caramel. The smell of fresh asphalt in scorching sunshine also tickle the olphactory nerve just the right way to create a wonderful and exotic sensory extravaganza. Blackberries with a little tart cherry in the back getting smoked out, mellowing out with the smooth tannins and really enjoying hanging out on the palate for a long time. They even have a couple more friends like red apple and spice come around to say hi at the end of the day. It is an ink bomb about to go off in your shirt pocket and you'd want to lick the shirt clean. It is that good. Had with my favorite chocolate cupcake with caramel, chocolate and sea-salt icing. Great way to end a Wednesday! Visit my website: St. Henry Brewery - brewing 'til the bitter end! |

Almost maroon in color. Nose of plum and dried cherries with hints of liquorice. Also a distinct stewed fruit quality as if it was my mom prepareing Jam! Med weight with a nice richness and no alcohol presence, also the tannins seem soft but noticeable. Big fruit, almost candy like with cherry, strawberry, and a light smokiness. Very nice. Light brown with glints of Ruby as is agitrated. Noticeable wood and alcohol on the nose with hints of carmel and light fruit. Rich in the mouth with a coating quality followed bylight alcohol on the finish. Carmel, with dried raisen, prune and a clove/allspice note intermingled. I need cheese with this to bring to life. Very nice wine though the alcohol is a bit distracting on the finish. C5+A13+T17+O7=92 |

1st Wood nuts with fruit of plum and raisin hidden a bit. Rich tannin with high acid it shows flavors of grape, raisin, date, anise, and black pepper. Currently the alcohol is a big factor. 3.5/5 2nd Chocolate on the nose with Candy like cherry/grape on the palate. Tasty but the finish is a bit short. 3/5 1 of 1 people found this useful |

Maple, nut brown color, beautiful! Rich wood, and raisen nose with soft toffee carmel notes. Med weight in the mouth with a rich sweetness that drys a bit on the finish followed by an alcohol burn that seems well integrated. Rich wood flavors of oak and a bisquit note that leads me to believe it was covered with carmel. Light fruit through out though only of the dried variety and a soft spice of cinnamon and spicy vanilla. I could drink a lot of this. C5+A13+T18+O9=95 1 of 1 people found this useful |

Leathery tannins. Initially has great depth of flavor, somewhat lacking in the midpalate, but rebounds with a 20 second ending. |
