Good for pre-dinner, standing around cooking. Nothing complex, just a good value white. Floral on the nose and palate with simple fruit to match.

Deep purplish red in color. The nose shows some sour barnyard that blows off to reveal blue and black berries followed by floral notes of violets. I n teh mouth fine tannins with a medium acidty balance this wine that remains soft and velvety in the mouth. Flavors of light spice, blueberries and that haunting violet wisp as the finish lingers. Tasty, fully mature, and a decent value. 4/5

Nice deep ruby red. Smokey mineral nose with hints of blackberry and plum. Medium body with light faded tannins, nice balanced acidity and short but enjoyable finish. Flavors of raspberry, light oak,smoke and a light mineraltiy. The 12% alcohol shows a bit strong on the finish but overall is not a factor. C5+A11+T15+O6=87

Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Touriga Franca

Light reddish purple color, like a hibiscus leave. Dipping my nose into the glass I'm met with cinnamon and raw wood, that stands in front of a confit like red fruit hidden behind it. Slowly some anise an cherry laced gingerbread delicately creep in. In the mouth this wine is lush with a rich juicy acidiyt bright and alive with notes of vanilla spice, and candied cherry, chocolate covered perhaps. Lush black currents, black raspberry(pure), and crushed violets all mingle on a palate of smeared spices, delicate and only sitting there as a back drop to the other flavors. Fun wine that lingers for a short time and leaves my mouth ready for the next sip. 3.5/5

100% Touriga Nacional. Aged 12 months in new French oak barrels. Wonderful nose... scents of cherries, chocolate and cigars...to be more precise, it smells like chocolate-cherry pie. It also has very pronounced smell of cigar box and oak as well. Medium-full bodied, elegant, medium astrigency, balanced, medium aftertaste and very classy. This is a very good wine and excellent QPR. Decant it for at least 45 min. Totally recommended!!
