This wine was definitely lacking in acidity for a long lived Barsac. Drink shorter term.

After a period of prolonged disjointedness, this wine has pulled itself together. The color is deep straw, and the wine displays an intense perfume of creme brulee, baked apple, and sweet, ripe pineapples and pears. full-bodied, rich alcoholic and fat, with low acidity and considerable sweetness, this is a luxuriously rich, unctuously-textured, heavyweight Sauternes that should become more civilized with age.

Can taste berry... not at all earthy.... keep next bottle for two years for comparison......

Seems to improve over time.... feeling more fruit and depth.....

Mineral taste stronger at first.... dried fruit yieling to berry like taste....

Very tannic... not getting much else...... bottle a bit chilled so will let sit for a while and see what happens...... after another hour, tannins seem leass, a little bit of earthiness, vegetal taste coming out.... will wait for three or four years to drink other bottle

This is my favourite Champagne Rose. Lovely white peach/pale salmon color. Hints of strawberry sorbret. Beautiful acidity, and great mousse.

Remarkably refined and elegant, this champagne rose is an extraordinary example of how roses should be made. A delicate and refined nose of discreet red fruits, hints of white flowers, nuts and delicate spice. Beautifully structured acidity combined with moderate "creaminess" makes it enjoyable glass after glass. Still good to hold on to as it is still has some tightness and seems to be hiding something. Incredible mousse and very delicate beads.

Beautiful funky pinot. Evolved fruit but still present (qeue de cerise, dried cherries) and fleshed out tannins. Medium weight hinting at an ability for continued consumption over the next 2 years but a slightly alcohol nose gives impression of a slight imbalance. Wine has help up well and give an elegant and enjoyable drinking experience.

tannic.... stewed fruit flavor comes out over time,.....

started off a bit minerally and tannic..... also spicy finish..... over time, spiciness replaced by almost sterwed fruit sense....

slight strawberry flavor comes out over time... taste on top of mouth but not tannic... pleasant but not very complex.... nice long finish

excellant value, drinking now. good for non-wine folks. low tannins

very nice cherry flavor.... slight send of minereal.... fairly light body.... have a sense that this is not the best expression of the vineyard
