We will only authorize a credit card the first time it is used to accept a bid in the marketplace. This authorization will reserve $40 of your credit limit for approximately 8-10 days.

The Security Code is located on the back of MasterCard and Visa credit or debit cards and is typically a separate group of 3 digits to the right of the signature strip. On American Express cards, the Security Code is a printed (NOT embossed) group of four digits on the front towards the right.

To protect the condition of your wine while in transit we require that you ship on a Monday or Tuesday so that it arrives no later than Friday of the same week. When printing your Fedex shipping labels from the Marketplace shipping wizard, we'll perform a real time weather check based your shipping zip code to determine the optimal shipping speed. Your Marketplace fee is not directly linked to the shipping speed that we require.

Vinfolio charges seller's a fee of 15% of the gross purchase price for cash sales and 10% when the seller opts for Vinfolio store credit, in each case subject to a minimum fee of $6 per bottle (any size).

Payment in cash or credit will be issued on a weekly basis after your wine is received and has passed inspection.

The estimated shipping fee is based on an average rate for your FedEx zone and the quantity of bottles in this transaction. Additionally, Vinfolio provides a shipping cost subsidy for each bottle sold for $100 or more.

Your final fee is charged when you go through the Shipping Wizard after you have accepted a bid. Your per bottle shipping cost may be lowered by combining multiple bid acceptances into a single shipment to take advantage of volume efficiencies.
